Each of the sample soaps I received was individually packaged in a sealed plastic bag and clearly marked with the scent. I was not sure what to expect but I revived what looks like a small triangle piece of soap. It looks like the samples are made by cutting a puck of soap into 6 or so pieces. There is enough in a sample for a few shaves. Overall, don't expect anything fancy - just small pieces of great soap in a clear bag. I am happy with the product because it is a great way to have a lot of shaving options without spending a lot of money. I am already finding a few scents I love and plan to buy more of.
